WBP plywood is a plate material made of hardwood veneer glued with phenolic resin. The main characteristics of this plywood are increased moisture resistance and resistance to temperature changes. Due to its qualities, WBP plywood is suitable for both interior and exterior works. The main areas of plywood application are construction, exterior structures, furniture production, transport packaging.
The company’s product range includes both polished and unpolished plywood. Different grades of plywood are available: grade I, II, III and IV.
WBP plywood is practical to operate under all conditions!
Plywood is a sheet material made from three or more thin sheets of peeled veneer (thickness 2mm; 1.5mm) glued together in the mutually perpendicular direction of the fibers in adjacent layers.
Plywood thickness – 4 mm–30 mm.
Plywood is made of birch and alder wood.
Depending on the external layers appearance, plywood is divided into 5 grades: E, I, II, III, IV.
According to the degree of water resistance of the adhesive joint, WBP plywood is high water resistant.
Film faced plywood is glued on the basis of SFJ-3014 phenol-formaldehyde resin.
According to the degree of mechanical surface treatment, plywood is divided into polished and unpolished.
Emission class-E1 (formaldehyde content per 100 g of absolutely dry plywood weight-up to 8.0 mg inclusive).
Physical and mechanical properties of plywood:
Humidity – 5-10 %.
Tensile strength while chipping on the adhesive layer after boiling in water:
for 1 h – not less than 1.5 MPa (for birch), 1.2 MPa (for alder);
for 6 h – not less than 1.2 MPa (for birch), 1.0 MPa (for alder).
Scope of application: construction, interior and exterior use.
